“There is more to come”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Stephanie Grisham recently appeared on MSNBC and dropped a bomb. The host asked whether Grisham had ever witnessed Trump showing classified documents to people in private meetings, and Grisham responded: “The short answer is ‘yes.’ I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio, so he has no respect for classified information. Never did.” Donald Trump will, of course, paint her as a “disgruntled fired employee” or something similar. He won’t refute her claim because he can’t. He will instead insult and attempt to demean her because that’s all he has. Besides, he’s busy doing what he does best: lying.

Trump traveled to Pickens, SC, for one of his infamous rallies this weekend. After the rally, he took to his Truth Social to claim that “75,000 fans” came to his rally to hear him speak. According to Greenville News, Pickens County Police Chief Randall Beach estimated the crowd at 50,000, but he asked the secret service to make an accurate count. The secret service gave Beach his numbers: 5,000 inside the gate and 10,000 in line. A Trump supporter from Summerville, SC, told media that was present: “I love it. I don’t think he lies to people. He’s true to his word and he don’t back down. He fights for what’s right.” Oh, no, Trump never lies. Another supporter, a pre-law student no less, said: “I’m super excited. I support him because he’s real with us. He wasn’t born into politics.” Oh, boy. Here’s to hoping she never passes the bar. His supporters also, of course, call the indictments against him “all lies.” These people obviously don’t know a lie from the truth, but what do you expect from people who grift their neighbors?

Greenville News reported that nearby parking lots were charging up to $60 for a parking space, though one church offered free parking in exchange for donations. The vendors were out as well, hawking Trump memorabilia, water, ice cream, mini-donuts, bottled honey, and food. Might as well take advantage of the fools, right? 50 of the fools were treated for heat exposure, and one was stopped at the gate for carrying a gun. It got worse. Calling themselves “patriots,” they all wanted to extoll the virtues of a life-long grifter and said such ridiculous things as: “He cares about the people in this country.” What in the world is wrong with these people? They refuse to face the truth that they’re backing a loser.

Many believe that Trump will soon be indicted yet again. Glenn Kirschner, appearing on MSNBC Saturday, said that he believes Jack Smith is “just getting warmed up.” Kirschner believes-and it seems to be true-that Smith continues to investigate, even after filing an indictment. Adding to Kirschner’s comments, Jill Wine-Banks, a prosecutor in the Watergate matter, also appeared on MSNBC and said: “there is more to come.” She believes there will be a second indictment in New Jersey. Both are highly experienced prosecutors who know what they’re talking about. No one should be surprised to hear additional indictment news dropping any day now.
