Over the weekend Rudy Giuliani posted a bizarre tweet about the DOJ nailing President Biden on RICO charges and seizing Biden’s Delaware home. It was obviously nonsense, and it felt like projection. But now we know what Giuliani was actually getting at.
Tonight the New York Times reported that Rudy Giuliani had a proffer interview with the DOJ last week. This is the meeting where you typically confess to everything you’ve done under limited immunity, reveal all the evidence you have against bigger fish, and hope the DOJ comes back with a lenient plea deal offer.
Now we know that Rudy Giuliani tweeted the fantasy about the DOJ using RICO to take down Joe Biden just a few days after he met with the DOJ. This suggests that Rudy learned during his proffer session that the DOJ is planning to use RICO take down Donald Trump.
