Donald Trump just got caught in the act
Donald Trump doesn’t tell the truth a lot, to put it mildly. But these days his lies just keep getting more pathetic. He’s a faded autocrat who has nothing left to cling to but the narcissistic delusion that he’s widely beloved, as he circles the drain and heads to prison. To that end, Trump is inventing imaginary crowds more frantically than ever:

Of course none of this really matters. Trump’s inability to draw a crowd these days is the least of his problems. There will certainly be plenty of people tuning in for coverage of his criminal trials, but only because most of them will be rooting for him to go to prison.
