FIGHT CLUB!
As I once said, in the Republican party, nothing is impossible. Not anger, not sloth, not protecting an insurrectionist. Not even a fight club. And a fight club is exactly what Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert seemed to be getting ready for on Wednesday afternoon.
The scene was the floor of US. House of Representatives. Business was at hand when two people on the House floor appeared to go more than a bit insane. Reportedly, Greene started it by referring to Boebert as a little bi###. Greene admitted that she DID in fact refer to Boebert this way saying the reporting was “impressively correct.”
These women were once friends. Apparently — not anymore. Boebert has been attempting to force a House vote to impeach President Joe Biden. The thought that this could ever actually happen is laugh out loud funny but Boebert as usual does not seem aware the joke is on her.
So the whole thing reportedly started with Boebert approaching Greene about public statements she said Greene had made about her that were upsetting. Greene’s response was to call Lauren a little b####. The two also argued about whose idea it was to impeach President Biden. No, really! These women have entirely too much time on their hands.
I can see it now:
“I CAME up with the idea!”
“No, I did!”
Why it was a regular House Fight Club! And it was SUCH a long time coming as these two ladies have been snipping at each other for MONTHS.
When asked for comment Lauren Boebert replied: “I’m not in middle school.” Could have fooled me. As for the winner? It sounds to me like nobody won, though there were many losers, number one being the American people who are cursed with having these two crazies as members of Congress.
