The problem with swearing fealty to a cult leader is that most times (actually all times), said cult leader does not give a damn about their flock. Such is the case with the orange baby, the one Republicans have sworn to follow always.

The GOP does not seem to realize the price they will soon pay — but we do. This price will be high, and it just might consume the obedient little members of the flock. Let’s take a look at what some are saying is waiting around the bend for the members of the trump cult.

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton says Trump is willing to endanger the “whole GOP” for his “personal advancement.” And he’s correct. One of the ways that Trump is already doing that is by expressing interest in primarying Republicans who are not loyal enough to him.

An example is threatening the Republicans who voted against the censure of Adam Schift. Trump is mad, and we all know hell hath no fury like a traitor scorned. Trump is also demanding complete fealty by way of the pardon. He would like ALL nominees to agree to pardon him. This could present a tricky situation, but Trump doesn’t give a damn.

He is also lashing out at fellow Republicans like DeSantis and Christie rather than attacking Democrats. Nobody knows if Trump will debate. He certainly isn’t going to sign any type of loyalty pledge and the ones who think he will are deluding themselves.

Bolton remarked that yet another way Trump is screwing up his party is that he refuses at this time to drop out of the race, placing Republicans in a tough situation. He won’t listen to his lawyers, which is why they keep quitting on him.

And if the GOP dares to stand up to their cult leader — they could be looking at Trump running as a third-party candidate.

The problem for the GOP is they still don’t get it. They’re like a bunch of sleepy-eyed kittens, unaware the wolf has entered the room. The problem for the GOP is that they made a horrific mistake.

They think Trump is part of the republican party, so naturally, they keep asking: why would he want to screw with his own party. But Donald Trump is NOT a member of the Republican Party. He runs a different party — the Donald Trump party.

This is a party of one who demands absolute loyalty. And if the party of one doesn’t get it, this party raises hell. The GOP is unaware of the horrible price that Trump will make them pay, and it’s coming at them pretty quickly now.
