Ron DeSantis just lost to Disney World AGAIN
It seems incredible to report this — to write these words. It gives me an utter feeling of disbelief, but it’s true. Ron DeSantis has been foiled by the Mouse — AGAIN! This is better than Bugs Bunny cartoons! (sort of.) What is going on with the Florida Governor? At this rate, they may have to cart him away, kicking and screaming, to an insane asylum.
And he’ll be yelling: That darned Mouse! DeSantis appointed a new board to manage and control the theme park BUT: The new chairman found what he calls “an 11th-hour agreement.” And this agreement took place way before this board came into the equation.
This agreement would allow Disney to set its own Utility rates, something that DeSantis was hoping to take over. The agreement stretches into the year 2032! By then, DeSantis will be out of Florida and perhaps in a rubber room. It just doesn’t end. The nightmare is alive and well for DeSantis.
DeSantis has been neglecting his presidential hopes and dreams because of his ongoing war with Disney. And now they’ve won AGAIN! What will Ron do?
Perhaps he will choose to continue the war. That would be bad. If DeSantis had any brains, which he most definitely does not, he’d wave all this off good-naturedly and make up with the much-loved theme park.
But because he’s Ron DeSantis, he can’t do that. Ron is currently losing his mind in real-time, and it’s not from Trump, not from Democrats, and not from anything but his own ego.
He just can’t win! He can’t beat the Mouse. Everything he does and all he tries ends in disaster for the joyless maniac. And what’s more, he is making an utter laughing stock of himself, people are starting to despise him, and he’s losing his presidential chances faster than the speed of light.
In the meantime, Disney continues to thrive; Mickey continues to be cooed over and much loved even as it all falls apart for the charmless Florida governor. Keep up the good work, Ronny-boy.
