This will get worse before it gets better

Defund. Defund. Defund. Defund. Defund. Defund. Defund. Why did I just write this one word so many times? Defund. It’s what the GOP is becoming known for — the ONLY thing. Defund, defund.

They have no other agenda. Ask a Republican sometimes — what do you STAND for? Defunding. See, this must become the narrative when it comes to the GOP — because it’s the truth. I am going to list all the things Republicans want to defund — look at this list, and then you will never wonder again if this is indeed the Defund party:

The FBI

The DOJ

The CIA

The FDA

Planned Parenthood

Various district attorney’s offices.

Libraries.

The woke agenda. (not kidding.)

Putin’s War on Ukraine

NPR

Climate policies

I’m sure I forget a few. In fact, speaking of defunding, Missouri House Republicans have just voted to defund libraries. Why not? Keep them dumb; then, they won’t have to think, is likely their mantra. And a word of warning — it will get worse before it gets better.

The GOP’s new thing is to threaten to defund everything they don’t like. Defund, defund. Libraries are on the chopping block. They’re that way because republicans are finding out the hard way that people don’t like the banning of books.

The Defund party are making fools of themselves. But they do not appear to care about that. Their thought processes seem to come straight out of ancient civilizations that haven’t existed for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Their archaic beliefs are so out of the mainstream they look freaky. They ARE freaky. So the next time someone asks YOU: Hey — what does the GOP stand for? Smile and say: nothing. Nothing at all. Except for defunding.
