Donald Trump’s 2024 “campaign” is falling to pieces
For all this ongoing insistence from the (entire) media that Donald Trump really is going to run for President and be viable in 2024, he sure didn’t do anything to try to win the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, did he? Funny how that worked. Yes, Trump was busy dealing with the whole “getting indicted and arrested” thing. And yes, the right wing candidate in that election didn’t want Trump’s help. But since when has that ever stopped Trump from butting in to elections?
If Trump were truly looking to win or steal anything in 2024, step one would have been to lock down the Wisconsin Supreme Court. That’s just so obvious. It’s more proof he’s not really “running” for anything, in an increasingly long string of proof.
Best anyone can tell, six months after Trump launched his 2024 “campaign,” he still doesn’t have a campaign manager. He’s done a bare minimum of “campaign” events. He’s still not bothering to use his reinstated Twitter account to promote his “campaign.”
Trump’s 2024 “campaign” appears to consist of nothing but his remaining underlings periodically calling in favors to get various media outlets to write puff pieces about how powerful and organized Trump’s 2024 “campaign” supposedly is. But that “campaign” only exists on paper. There is no campaign. At this point he’s not even really trying to fake it.
There simply is no “Trump 2024” campaign. The whole thing is a lie that Trump made up so he can line his pockets and so he can pretend his criminal trials are political persecution. When the media helps Trump hype his imaginary 2024 campaign, the media is flat out lying to you.
Maybe in Trump’s increasingly senile and delusional mind, he thinks that what he’s doing (or more accurately not doing) on the national stage is a campaign. Or maybe he knows it’s just a fraud. Either way, it’s not a real campaign. The media knows this, but keeps lying to you.
Keep in mind, MSNBC and liberal leaning news outlets are hyping Trump’s imaginary 2024 campaign just as thoroughly as Fox News is. This isn’t about political ideology, or left vs right, or whether any given media outlet wants Trump to win or lose. This is about the entire media spending 2023 dishonestly milking “Trump 2024” for ratings, knowing that there is no Trump 2024 campaign.
We all know how this ends. Once it starts to become obvious to audiences that Trump’s criminal troubles have made him non-viable for 2024, the (entire) media will suddenly treat Trump’s downfall as shocking breaking news that no one could have seen coming. Just like they did with his indictment.
