Great news for Joe Biden and the Democrats
While the GOP is doing everything in its power to hurt the US economy so they can use it as an excuse to usurp power, their efforts have largely been disastrous. Despite the warnings we’ve gotten about a recession around the corner, the Biden Boom is still in full swing – with over 311,000 new jobs added in the month of February alone, with unemployment holding steadily at 3.6%.
These are not only the lowest levels of unemployment in over fifty years, they’re also lower than they were pre-pandemic – contrary to the regular right-wing talking point about the resurgence of jobs only due to the pandemic being over.
Regardless of what the GOP wants to admit, we’re in the full throes of a Biden Boom – one that has actually seen manufacturing jobs return to the United States from overseas – a promise that the former guy made while doing nothing to achieve it.
We’re watching the Biden administration defy economic expectations as high job numbers come in and inflation levels continue to drop. Record levels of unemployment and jobs numbers that put the administrations of nearly every post-World War II presidency to shame helped Democrats outperform expectations in 2022 and are on track to do the same for us in 2024.
