Michael Cohen’s day in the sun
So Donald Trump is going to be indicted, and it’s going to happen very soon. We know this. And presumably, we’re all pleased about it. And there is one person that should be VERY happy. I speak of Michael Cohen.
I have a great deal of respect for Cohen. This is because he is the only person — the only one — who managed to free himself from the hate vortex that is Donald Trump.
And he didn’t just free himself. The man turned his life completely around. He’s written books and has a podcast. He has emerged as a truth-teller, and he knows Donald trump as nobody does. And he predicted all this from the start.
Cohen payed a terrible price for his association with trump. He went to prison in 2019. And when he was freed, he was sent back briefly because of what appears to be “retaliation” measures since he was, in fact, writing about Donald Trump.
And Cohen has been meeting with New York prosecutors. He has changed his life and deserves both our respect and admiration. If anyone deserves to be avenged, it is Michael Cohen. If anyone has a cause to celebrate, it’s him.
In fact, republicans could and should take a hint from him. What Cohen has shown is it’s possible. It’s possible to break away from the toxic circle that is trump and his dastardly deeds. And if he can do it, others can too. Only they choose not to. But they may have to do or say SOMETHING soon.
That is because their “leader” — their vicious, barbaric, dishonest leader — is about to learn the hard way that crime doesn’t pay. And Michael Cohen is one who helped hammer home that message. Yes, that is definitely worthy of respect.
