Nikki Haley really seems to hate old people
Why does Nikki Haley hate our elderly so much? Since Haley launched her going-nowhere campaign, all she’s done is verbally attack our elderly. She’s derided them, made jokes about them, and now she wants to cut off their Social security and Medicare benefits.
Now to be clear — Haley won’t win, and nothing will happen to either medicare or social security. But that doesn’t mean Haley will not continue to whine about her simmering dislike for the greatest generation.
Haley also wants to raise the retirement age because, among other things, she doesn’t appear to believe people have the right to retire after years and years of hard work. And in the world of Haley, she actually thinks reducing Social security payments to lifetime payers is a good idea.
She also said she wants to focus on “the next generation.” I’ve got news for you, Haley. The “next” generation doesn’t want to focus on you. This is not a mutual love fest at all.
In fact, the American people are sending Haley a resounding message, and that message is that they can’t stand her. When last I checked, Haley was about 4% in the polls, which is actually better than where I thought she’d be at this time. I guessed 3%.
And her candidacy is already becoming irrelevant. That’s because Haley has no idea what in the hell she’s doing besides refusing to attack Donald Trump and trying desperately to get young people to love her.
Haley is already getting slammed in the media for her ridiculous positions, particularly in raising the retirement age.
It’s also worth mentioning that Haley did not give a specific age people should retire at. This is likely because she doesn’t know and is waiting for her campaign manager to tell her what to think and how to say it.
Haley might be running for VP, but I will make a prediction. And that prediction is — she won’t get that job either. The reason I say this is because Haley has shown herself to be one of the worst republican politicians ever, and it’s likely only going to get worse for her from here.
