Hillary Clinton responds to Donald Trump’s rant by suggesting he’s illiterate

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

At the end of a day which had gone poorly for him on all fronts, Donald Trump decided to wrap it up with an unhinged late-night Twitter rant about his former election rival Hillary Clinton. Was he looking for a distraction? Had he lost what little was left of his marbles? Either way, Hillary fired back at him this morning in seemingly earnest fashion, which upon closer inspection appears to have been a thinly veiled punchline.

Trump’s late night Twitter rant began like this: “Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss. She lost the debates and lost her direction!” He then ended it like this: “The “deplorables” came back to haunt Hillary. They expressed their feelings loud and clear. She spent big money but, in the end, had no game!” But that’s when Hillary decided to fire back.

Hillary Clinton tweeted this reply to Donald Trump: “If you didn’t like that book, try this one — some good lessons in here about working together to solve problems. Happy to send a copy.” She included a photograph of her earlier book, It Takes A Village. Take a close look at the photo she attached:

This is clearly the children’s picture book version of It Takes A Village, which you can find listed online here. Hillary could have pointed Trump toward the adult version of her book, but instead seemed to make a point of steering him toward something simpler.
