The Mike Pence chicken dance is underway

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The lights have lowered, and the show is set to begin. Got your popcorn ready? This show is a dance. It promises to be a spectacular dance, a waltz to remember. Many steps will be performed, and the audience will be grand, bigger than Donald Trump’s inauguration, that’s for sure.

It promises to be a symphony, a dance rich in prancing and twisting. It’s called the chicken dance — the chicken dance of Mike Pence. Are you getting revved-up, audience? You should be. Mike Pence has been subpoenaed by Jack Smith. As you can see, the Trump special counsel has not been wasting time.

And this shows his investigation is nearly complete. Pence is the cherry on top of the sundae. The investigation is winding down. And now we will see the Mike Pence shuffle. What will he do? I believe he will testify. See, it’s all part of the dance. Many think Pence is the person who leaked the story in the first place. I agree.

Pence has to do this if he wants to run for president. He HAS to look like he cares. But he can’t look like he cares too much. I’ve said in a previous article I was sick to the death of the whole “Saint Mike” thing. The bottom line is for a brief moment, Pence COULD have gained the respect of the whole nation.

Not for doing his job but for testifying before the January sixth committee. But he refused. And he said they “had no right” to his testimony. That was all it took for Mikey’s true colors to be revealed. You see, it’s in times such as those — urgent times — that a politician’s character is revealed.

Pence did think the PAYING public had a right to his testimony, in the form of a book. He wrote it all out and charged the American people to read about it, taking advantage of the insurrection to make a buck.

And then he refused to help the January sixth committee — and the men and women in blue he talks about loving so frequently. Mike Pence, in my opinion, is one big fraud. And he may think that testifying will help him in his presidential hopes. But it won’t. Maga will never love him. They will loathe him even more now.

Pence will do the dance of fairness, soberly looking at the camera and giving a long suffering sigh. It’s an act. It’s part of his chicken dance. And it will be great fun to see his presidential dreams go up in smoke.
