Michael Cohen slam dunks Donald Trump amid news that Trump is facing criminal indictment in New York
Just how long ago did Donald Trump pay off Stormy Daniels over their affair? Since that time Michael Cohen has gone to prison for his role in that scandal, gotten out of prison, and since become a respected political commentator and bestselling book author. Now, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is reportedly finally presenting a criminal case against Trump himself to a grand jury in relation to that scandal. It turns out Cohen has some things to say about it.
Michael Cohen reportedly met with the Manhattan DA’s office two weeks ago regarding this very criminal case. Now that the news has broken that the DA has indeed decided to present the case to a grand jury for indictment, Cohen appeared on the Nicolle Wallace show on Monday and weighed in on things.
Cohen has previously been highly critical of prosecutors for having failed to indict Trump in the Stormy Daniels payoff scheme. After all, if Cohen was sent to prison for carrying out Trump’s instructions, why wouldn’t Trump also be sent to prison for it? But now Cohen believes that Trump really is going to be criminally indicted in New York.
Speaking to Wallace, Michael Cohen said this: “You know how they say a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich? In this case they’re gonna indict the whole pig!” In other words, Cohen thinks this is the real deal. And he has a tendency to be proven right about these things.
