This just keeps getting uglier for RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel
Poor poor Ronna McDaniel. Ronna has been the republican national committee chair and wants to keep that job. But the GOP is not making it easy for her. McDaniel has generated a lot of anger from Republicans, many of whom largely see her as an ineffectual Chair. Others are running for the same position, the most flamboyant being Pillow lover Mike Lindell.
McDaniel is now calling for peace, happiness, and unity among republicans. Like THAT is going to happen. McDaniel is saying that Republican “infighting” could doom the party’s chances of victory in future elections.
She wants all republicans to coalesce and votes for any Republican nominee, no matter who that nominee might be. “We can’t hate each other so much that we forget what the democrats are doing to this country,” McDaniel whined. “We can’t be so mad at each other that we say, I’m not going to vote for this republican because they like this candidate or MAGA.”
McDaniel made these remarks to John Catsimatidis on his WABC show. I’ve got news for McDaniel. She may as well be talking to a pool of water for all the good it will do her. This is a cult we’re talking about. Does McDaniel imagine that many in Maga land have any interest in helping her?
Indeed, many of them want her out of her position. I’ve seen hundreds of comments saying so. Likewise, no moderate republican such as Lisa Murkowski of Alaska will be endorsing a “Kari Lake” type of candidate. Here is what McDaniel does not get.
The GOP is essentially not a political party anymore. They have some of the party, which is nothing more than a cult — under the influence of a crazed sorcerer who throws temper tantrums and wants to burn the party to the ground, taking them down with him. And most in the Maga world are happy to oblige.
Then you have the republican trump sycophants like McCarthy, who is not as crazy as that group but cannot find their cowardly voices to denounce Trump because they’re terrified of him.
Then you have the more moderate republicans like Murkowski, who just want a return to sanity. (That is not likely to happen.) And then there are all the people who are LEAVING the GOP — because they cannot stand the infighting.
So the GOP has all these little factions, eating themselves and each other alive, bickering and quarreling and getting nothing done. McDaniel wants peace in her party. I’d say what she is about to experience is more mayhem than ever before.
