Down goes Steve Bannon’s accomplice

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Steve Bannon’s “Build The Wall” co-conspirator Timothy Shea was convicted yesterday on state-level charges of money laundering and wire fraud, and will be going to prison for a very long time. Bannon has been indicted on similar charges. The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they turn.

This is completely separate from Bannon’s conviction for contempt of Congress in federal court, and his pending four month prison sentence. That’s always been chump change compared to Bannon’s fraud charges.

For reference: three of Bannon’s four co-conspirators pleaded guilty awhile ago. Shea insisted on going to trial and it ended up being a mistrial. This was Shea’s re-trial and he was convicted today. We’ll see if Shea now flips on Bannon. Either way, Bannon has been indicted in this scandal and will go on trial. If Bannon is convicted, he’ll serve a very long sentence in state prison.
