Dr. Oz crashes and burns on national television

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Pennsylvania does not have a doctor running for Senator on the Republican ticket. It has a liar — a shlocky, dishonest, snake oil salesman who delights in shaming sick people or shaming ANYONE who does not fit Mehmet’s version of “healthy.”

As you know, Mehmet has been under fire for his nasty comments taunting John Fetterman for the crime of having a stroke. Now other stuff from Mehmet’s past is coming out, showing he has a long history of exactly this kind of behavior.

In 2019, Mehmet was on the Today Show. And he seemed utterly delighted to blame overweight people for their own health issues, proving that Mehmet is no doctor – he’s a schlocker. Here is exactly what the non-doctor said:

“Everyone in America,” said Mehmet.

“Just look down and see your belly”

“I can tell you your brain is shrinking. Big belly means small brain.”

REALLY, Mehmet? What, then, would you say about Donald Trump, who definitely seems a bit portly these days? I hope someone does ask him that question.

But it gets worse.

“Your big belly creates a metabolic disarray that causes inflammation in your brain, which means you can predispose yourself to a condition like Alzheimer’s.”

“So,” Mehmet ordered. “Reduce your waist size.”

And in yet another appearance on the same show, Mehmet told an audience member to “suck it in” and then measured her waist. He then said she had too much going on in her belly area.

The blizzard of Oz also told ABC News in 20029 he refused to do any surgery on smokers even if it would make them better — unless they quit smoking.

How exactly was Mehmet planning to ensure they did that? Was he going to move in with these smokers and follow them around 24 hours a day? Smell their hair?

And what is with fat-shaming female audience members and talking about their bellies?

People, I really dislike this man. He’s the king of creepy. My gut tells me there is an ocean of secrets in his past that we don’t even know about. There has to be, as it seems every day, new stuff comes out about him, none of it good.

So that is why I just donated to John Fetterman. I hope in these last few weeks, we can all come together to help John Fetterman and keep Mehmet out of the senate and away from our bellies.
