Donald Trump is finished in this lifetime
It’s no surprise that Donald Trump’s favorability has been dropping even further of late, and is now down in the low thirties in one new poll. The 1/6 public hearings, the FBI raid of his home, and the news that he stole classified secrets, have turned a number of people in the middle against him. It was never about his too-small base, which is irrelevant. It was always about convincing people in the middle to turn against him, which is what we’re now overwhelmingly seeing.
To be clear, the numbers have shown since January 6th, 2020 that Trump had no political future. The minute his goons breached the Capitol, his future viability was gone. But now the numbers make it even more obvious. All that media obsession over “Trump 2024” was just empty ratings hype. Even if Trump weren’t heading to prison, he’d still be heading to irrelevance.
Trump’s rally crowds keep getting smaller. No one puts his rally speeches on TV anymore because no one on either side cares enough to watch. But we’re supposed to sit around helplessly fretting over this guy? When we’re facing so many real and immediate threats like the midterms? No way. Trump is a punching bag. Let the DOJ finish him off. Let’s focus our energy on putting in the work to win the midterms!
