Don’t lose the plot on this one
We’re all focused on winning the midterms. We want to keep the Senate and the House. If we work hard, we can. But one thing is important. We can’t forget any of the races. In terms of the Senate, we’ve been focused on Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona.
But what about Nevada? Catherine Cortez Masto is our Senator in Nevada. And though it’s been getting little attention, she is in a rough race to keep her seat. It is vital we help. Imagine if we picked up Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and Ohio but lost Nevada. That could be catastrophic.
Right now, various polls say different things, but one thing is sure. The polls have Masto and her challenger with only a point or two separating them. And that worries me. It is easy to focus on the big picture and forget about the little. We’ve perhaps taken Nevada for granted. We shouldn’t.
There are essentially “two Nevadas.” There is Las Vegas and surrounding areas. And then there is everywhere else. Two Nevadas and one of them is full of election deniers, republicans and some VERY rural counties.
My friends, please sign up to help in Nevada. This is one race we must win. We’re playing defense on this seat, and it is imperative that everybody go all in and save Nevada. Saving Nevada is extremely important. There are eleven percent of Nevada voters undecided. We need to make sure they break for us.
