DOJ comes out swinging against Donald Trump and rogue judge
The Justice Department has appealed the ruling of Judge Aileen Cannon for a Special Master. It was always going to come to this. The Judge, in this case, is clearly incompetent and clearly in the tank for Donald Trump. She also does not appear to know what she’s doing, as thousands of Judges and attorneys have mentioned this week. The appeal will go before the 11th circuit.
Before anybody gets into the worrying game — just because Trump appointed several of the Judges on the 11th circuit does not AT ALL mean they’re corrupt. Remember how Trump’s court filings to try to overturn the 2020 election were turned away by virtually everyone? Many of the people doing the turning away were Trump Judges.
There really was nothing else the DOJ could do. This ruling is so clearly corrupt it cries out to be appealed. This appeal was widely expected, especially since the only Special Masters Trump’s side would likely agree on would be Michael Flynn and Ted Cruz (sarcasm but not far from the truth.) So now we wait and see. But this was a great decision on their part. Nobody is above the law, and though Judge Cannon does not realize that everybody else does.
