Donald Trump’s new nightmare
Wes Craven’s “Nightmare on Elm Street” was a rip-roaring success at the Box office, turning into a franchise consisting of nine films, books, a television series, and comic books. “Freddy Krueger” was an apparition of a former child killer. He went on to scare and terrify people for many years to come. He was also rated the 14th greatest villain of all time. Freddy Krueger has nothing on Donald Trump.
We are living with our own real-life Krueger. Yes, I am referring to Donald Trump. And what I want to speak about is the “nightmare on Trump street.” Trump, alone and infuriated, is lashing out at Truth Social. And boy, oh boy, is the monster mad! We knew this would happen, of course. When has Trump EVER been able to shut up?
And Trump, in the spirit of malignant narcissists everywhere, is blaming everyone ELSE for his problems — instead of looking in the mirror where, if he did look, the source of all his troubles would be staring right back at him.
Trump is blaming the Judge. He is blamed the FBI. He is blaming Democrats. He is blaming the DOJ. Who is next for the monster to blame — the butler? Trump is blaming “the political hacks and thugs.” No, not Fox. He is speaking of anybody who does not agree with him — which is basically 90 percent of the country.
“We are right now living in a lawless country,” the traitor actually wrote on Truth Social. “A failing nation,” the maniac wrote. Now I usually do not quote the monster. But you know what? Why not enjoy the mental meltdown of the sewage hole that is Trump’s brain? It is rather lovely to see.
In the Nightmare franchise, Krueger came to people in their dreams. He represented subconscious fears. I wonder what Trump’s worst subconscious fears are — and if the monsters of his dreams torment him nightly. It really would be no less than he deserves.
