Donald Trump’s projection tactics are the stuff of legend. He spent the election falsely accusing Hillary Clinton of whatever improper behavior he was engaged in at the time. When his sniffing during debates led to accusations of cocaine use, he demanded Hillary take a drug test. He’s also accused New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman of being a cokehead – and that takes us to the story of the guy who’s about to help take Trump down.

Eric Schneiderman and Donald Trump have been going at it for years, dating to before Trump entered politics. It was Schneiderman who exposed the Trump Foundation as a phony charity, and it was Schneiderman who took down the fraudulent Trump University. This was thanks to the fact that most of Trump’s financial endeavors are based in the State of New York, which has given the state Attorney General jurisdiction. It’s led to a long series of insults and false accusations on Trump’s part. And now it’s led to a partnership between Schneiderman and Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Here’s a tweet from 2014 in which Donald Trump accused New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman of being a “cokehead.” When Trump’s consistent pattern of projection is factored in, this strongly suggests that Trump was using cocaine himself during that time period. It also demonstrates that Trump has been worried for years that Schneiderman might end up finding a way to take him down for his various financial crimes:

Donald Trump’s apparent longtime cocaine habit may be the least of his problems, unless you consider that cocaine isn’t readily available in prison. This week the news surfaced that Robert Mueller is cutting off Trump’s ability to pardon his own co-conspirators such as Paul Manafort, by partnering with Eric Schneiderman to bring state level crimes against them, which can’t be pardoned. If Trump can’t pardon his associates, they’ll have to flip on him to avoid prison themselves. Schneiderman’s revenge on Trump is coming.
