Donald Trump, please proceed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Alone and defanged, the misery king Donald Trump, is striking out in the only way he knows how to do. With threats. Trump reposted an article on Truth Social. This article had this screaming headline: “The payback for Mar-a-Lago will be brutal.”

The article, written by a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, said that the FBI search may have started a “toxic cycle” and that once Republicans get back in power, they may attempt to take revenge by raiding the homes of Democrats.

None of this is surprising. Trump has nothing left in his arsenal but empty threats. He’s run out of logical solutions, not that he’d ever have considered any solution founded in logic anyway.

And if he thinks his ridiculous threats scare the Democratic party and Merrick Garland, he’s about to get a nasty dose of reality.

The fact is the country does not revolve around Donald Trump. Now I understand that Trump, lost in his narcissistic haze, might THINK it does. But as with everything he thinks, Trump is wrong.

Nothing will stop the Department of Justice from charging Trump if he committed crimes. We know it. He knows it. And most everybody knows it.

And I say let the criminal keep talking.

Trump’s chatter is like a faucet that can’t be turned off. If one leaves him alone and lets him babble, sooner or later, his words will lead to a flood, and he’ll likely admit to past crimes.

He has to. The man has no filter. He can’t help himself. So, there really is value in every foolish word he says. So go ahead, Mr. Trump — make our day. Keep up your dazed and confused rhetoric. Keep up your empty chatter. All the words in the world will not save you from the mess that has now started to engulf you.
