Even for Greg Abbott this is evil

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Greg Abbott. What do you think of when you hear that name? For me, I think of incompetence. I think of a ruthless man wrapped in campaign promises to his slimy friends, ignoring the needs of the people who populate the state of Texas. Abbott wants another run at being the Governor of Texas. He must not win.

He mustn’t win because Abbott is incompetent. He is the worst virus Texas has ever known, and if he gets another term, the Greg Abbott virus will multiply, and Texans will feel even worse.

Yet there is a cure in sight, and that cure is Beto. The race is tightening. And this news about Abbott will not help things for him. Reports are that on the day of the Uvalde school shooting. Abbott was at a fundraiser. And he stayed there for hours and hours.

When the people of Uvalde needed him the most, Abbott was at a FUNDRAISER — a silly, superficial fundraiser Now Abbott has said he made only a brief stop there and said he could not stay. His “not staying” according to many reports lasted for hours and hours. That sure was one long stop, Governor Abbott.

The Dallas Morning News obtained records. And these records show that evil Abbott stayed not for 30 minutes, not for an hour, not for two. He stayed for THREE hours. He mingled and likely laughed, enjoying the day while his people needed him.

His actions show he could not have cared less about these people. Abbott has shown he really does not give a damn about much — except himself. Abbott’s best friend is Abbott. He arrived in town at for the fundraiser at 4:52 PM. He left three hours later.

This has to stop. This utter depraved indifference has to end. We HAVE to vote no on the Texas non-Governor. “Depraved indifference.” These are my words, and they fit. What else could one possibly call the actions of Abbott? It is, for him, about money. And fundraisers. And depraved indifference.

Do the Texans deserve that? Of course not! So please — sign up to help Beto. Fight back against the depraved indifference of the evil Governor. For Texas is a wild and magnificent state, and she needs us now. She needs us to replace the depraved indifference with sunlight – the sunlight of Beto O’Rourke.
