If I were Josh Hawley (and thank goodness I’m not), I’d be ashamed to show my face at the Capitol. This is because Hawley is now the joke of America. Actually he’s an international joke. Hawley, who has shown he has no talent as a politician, did offer us talent in one area — running like the chickenshit he is.

The video of Hawley running away in terror from the very people he incited has turned the Missouri bully into a pariah. The ridicule has gone viral, and I suspect Hawley’s life will never again be the same. As several people put it on Twitter: if Hawley is ever asked, are you planning to run, that now takes on a whole new meaning.

So it is unsurprising that Haley’s infamous run has been set to music. And Twitter warriors are showing great creativity in their musical selections. Among the tunes, capturing the traitor’s track star ways include:

Chariots of fire, Chicken Rap, Running up that hill (Kate Bush), My heart will go on, Born to Run, the Benny Hill theme, Running down a dream, I ran by A flock of seagulls, The Road Runner theme, Running down a dream, Run for the hills and Pink Floyd’s Run like hell which is the one that broke me (with laughter.)

My apologies to the (hundreds of tunes I did not include.) What makes it even funnier is that Hawley had tweeted his followers earlier that night, reminding them to watch his appearance on Fox. Judging by the responses, most of which consisted of “Chicken,” I doubt many of them did.

It is fascinating seeing how one fist pump and one frantic run ruined a man’s Presidential ambitions. And yet, I almost hope Hawley does decide to run. The memes that would come out of it would be hysterical indeed.
