House Republican Elise Stefanik sinks to a whole new level of creepiness

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It must be exhausting living one’s life in servitude to a traitor. For Republican Representative Elise Stefanik, such servitude has become her life. The ambitious Representative appears to have had all the intelligence drained from her to be replaced with the sick emptiness only a Maga could possibly understand.

So it’s no wonder that Stefanik rarely appears happy these days. For how could one be happy when they’re doing a Dorian Gray in real-time? And Stefanik proved her vacant politics by attacking the January 6 committee. “This is an attack on all Trump voters,” she snarled on Fox non-news.

“It’s a partisan attempt by Nancy Pelosi for her hand-picked members of Congress to go after President Trump and all Republicans.” Stefanik sounded frankly insane. It is so fascinating that this woman at one time not all that long ago appeared as an intelligent and poised MODERATE on the brink of some good things. Not anymore. See, that’s what the Trump sickness does to people. It’s a sickness, alright, and it goes for the jugular — sanity.

It’s no wonder the victims of the Trump sickness usually do not recover; if they do, they are forever doomed to stupid babble and ridiculous rhetoric. Those are the consequences of embracing the Trump sickness, I suppose.

Stefanik also demanded that there be cross-examinations of all the January 6 witnesses which is also an insane request. This isn’t a trial. These are hearings — hearings the GOP had the opportunity to participate in.

They refused. They miscalculated. They thought nobody would be interested, and EVERYBODY is. That’s on them. But Stefanik, no doubt, with fantasies of diamonds, power, and maybe Kevin McCarthy’s House Speaker position, won’t own that this is all her party’s fault. Perhaps she will when her party loses in spectacular fashion this November.
