Looks like the DOJ is gearing up for a big swing at Trump world

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. The DOJ is adding more prosecutors to its Trump world probe, per WSJ. Not investigators, but prosecutors. Investigators investigate. Prosecutors prosecute. You understand where this is going next, right?

When we learned months ago that the DOJ had begun putting lower level Trump people in front of a grand jury, and then weeks ago the DOJ carried out grand jury search and seizure warrants against Clark and Eastman, it was very clear that this was heading toward major prosecutions. The only question was when.

Now the DOJ is leaking to the media (no one else would be in a position to know or leak this particular kind of information) that it’s adding prosecutors to the probe. The mainstream media severely underplayed the significance of the Clark and Eastman seizures when they happened, and after about 24 hours the media was right back to pretending the DOJ was doing “nothing” about Trump world. So it appears the DOJ is now attempting to steer the media in the right direction.

Just because more prosecutors are being added, it doesn’t mean Clark and Eastman are getting arrested tomorrow. That’s not how this works. But the DOJ is clearly shifting from an investigative stage into a prosecutorial stage against Trump world, and DOJ apparently wants everyone to know it.

The way the DOJ typically operates is that it’ll indict the likes of Clark, Eastman, and other key Trump henchmen, and attempt to flip them against Trump, so it can make a run at Trump. You generally need one or more inside witnesses to take a crime boss down.

What’s intriguing about the Garland DOJ is that when it took down the Oath Keepers leadership, it arrested them all on the same day. This was aimed at pitting them against each other to compete for the best cooperation deal, and a few of them have indeed reportedly flipped.

So what’ll be interesting to watch for is whether the DOJ also uses that approach against Trump world, by arresting multiple top Trump people at the same time in the hope of triggering a flip-a-thon.

If this sounds like too much to hope for, keep in mind that the DOJ did carry out search and seizure warrants against Clark, Eastman, and several other key people in the Trump fake elector plot on the same day. The Garland DOJ seems to like building up to taking big swings.

So when are the major Trump world arrests going to happen? Don’t ask me, I wouldn’t know. But also don’t ask the dummies on social media who are always trying to go viral by falsely claiming to know that the DOJ is doing nothing, or isn’t going to do anything. They’ve always just been making that up for effect – and it’s increasingly easily disproven.
