Trump stooge JD Vance has a whole new scandal
Vote for the Democratic Senatorial nominee in Ohio, Tim Ryan. The Ohio race is so very important. And the Republican nominee — JD Vance, is going through some things. Karma was always going to come for Vance. The man has been a chameleon in recent years, moving from one disguise to another in attempts to convince Ohio voters that he really does give a damn.
Only the man who said he really doesn’t care what happens in Ukraine (a really dumb comment, Vance) is not having an easy time of it. A complaint has been filed against Vance. This complaint alleges that Vance had assistance with his campaign that may have been illegal.
Yes, it appears Fate and Karma are having a good chuckle at the expense of Vance right now. Watchdog organizations End Citizens United and Campaign legal center are the ones who filed the complaint. In it, they say Vance illegally schemed with a “secret website” where his campaign and a super PAC coordinated TOGETHER, posting internal data on this secret website and other campaign information.
It is illegal by federal law for campaigns and super PACs to coordinate, yet the groups allege that is exactly what happened. The Super PAC was funded by the benefactor of Vance, billionaire Peter Thiel. And the watchdog organizations are asking that the FEC investigate this matter, which they say amounts to “billionaires buying elections.”
And the organizations claim to have evidence, including in-kind donations and campaign violations. Ouch! The complaint, which is almost 200 pages long, alleges that the super PAC set up the site to be a secret but was outed by Politico.
End Citizens United President Tiffany Miller had this to say: “This abuse is perhaps one of the clearest and most flagrant examples of a candidate and a super PAC skirting campaign finance laws.” I would not want to be JD Vance right now. Vance will likely have to answer questions that he’d rather ignore — only he won’t be able to. Vote for Tim Ryan.
