“It’s OVER!”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Those skeptics will simply not stop attempting to bring doom and gloom to the midterm elections. These people are sourpusses and must be ignored. Allow me, if you will to give you a few examples of what these misery collectors like to do.

“No. We can’t win. Democrats won’t show up.”

Yes, they will.

“We’ll find a way to screw it up.”

No, we won’t.

“Democrats aren’t motivated.”

Yes, they are.

“It’s OVER!”

No, it isn’t.

It is imperative we do not let these misery-suckers (to quote Cory Booker) “steal our joy.” We can do anything we want to do — with a bit of work. Please ignore the wails from the peanut gallery. Please do not allow it to penetrate your psyche.

Our psyches must be filled with one thought — winning. Winning is what we must fill our souls with. We’re stronger together than apart. Do not allow these people to tear into our strong Democratic fabric.

We need positive reinforcement, not negative. What does negative reinforcement DO anyway? It only makes us more negative. This will be our year — a year where the spoils of victory can be ours with hard work.

“To the victor goes the spoils.” I’m sure you’ve heard that term before. It’s one of my favorites. What will OUR spoils be as victors?

Codifying Roe. Packing the court. Passing voter rights legislation. The list goes on. And let us go on too. Our march must continue, through the path and up the mountain — where a blazing sun waits quietly for us.

And when we reach the top of that mountain? We can cry out in victory and reap our golden rewards. It is imperative to leave the negativity in the winds to do this. WE don’t have time for it because WE intend to win. We intend to be the Victors, calmly collecting our spoilers of victory.
