Steve Bannon has complete meltdown in the face of criminal charges

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The DOJ has already criminally indicted Steve Bannon on two counts of contempt of Congress, for which he’s set to stand trial this summer, which will send him to prison. Bannon’s court filings in the case give away that he believes the DOJ has a broader criminal case against him and is going to bring additional charges. Now Bannon is having a meltdown.

In a remarkable bit of empty bravado, Bannon is now insisting that it’s FBI Director Christopher Wray who’s going to end up criminally charged and sent to prison. It’s not clear how Bannon is somehow magically going to make this happen, but delusional hope springs eternal for the desperate.

It’s clear that Bannon knows how much trouble he’s in. He can yell angry nonsense on his podcast all he wants, but the reality is that he’s the one who’s been criminally indicted and is heading to trial and then prison – and he knows it too. It’s why he’s putting on such a histrionic show.
