Madison Cawthorn is unraveling in dangerous fashion
After House Republican Madison Cawthorn publicly accused his fellow Republicans of doing hard drugs in front of him and inviting him to orgies, various members of the party publicly pushed back against him. Photos of him wearing women’s lingerie on top of his clothes have since surfaced, which is perfectly fine, except he’s also been known to attack transgender people during his House floor speeches. Suffice it to say things haven’t been going well for him lately – and now he appears to be cracking.
According to a local TV affiliate in the Carolinas, Madison Cawthorn was cited today for taking this gun into an airport:

Because this isn’t the first time Cawthorn has tried to take a gun into an airport, it’s possible he’ll end up facing criminal charges. This guy seems to be in a downward spiral. And this is on top of the 14th Amendment court challenge aimed at keeping him off the 2022 ballot, which is still unfolding.
