Photo of Donald Trump suggests he’s in an almost indescribably pathetic condition
Donald Trump is now apparently wandering around his own resort while wearing shirts that say “President Donald Trump” on them, according to this recently posted photo of him. This is almost indescribably pathetic. What’s even going on here?
Did Trump instruct his handlers to go out and have these shirts made, so he can wear them while wandering around swimming pools and pretending he’s still President? Are his caretakers trying to keep his spirits up by dressing him in a way that causes him to think he really is still President? Either way, if he’s that far gone, there’s nothing left of him.
Do you see Pope Francis wearing shirts that say “I am the Pope” on them? Does Mick Jagger wander around wearing shirts that say “Rolling Stones lead singer” on them? Of course not, because these are universally recognizable people, and they know that no one they encounter needs to be reminded of who they are. But that’s the difference. They still are those things.
In contrast, Donald Trump has to go around wearing shirts that say “President Donald Trump” on them because he’s not the President. He’s just a guy who lost the 2020 election by seven million votes and then tried to overthrow the government because he couldn’t admit he lost. Now he’s just an unemployed guy who apparently spends his days wandering around swimming pools while wearing a company uniform from the company that fired him. Trump was always a creepy weirdo, but… wow. There’s nothing left of this guy.
