This is an unmitigated disaster for Putin

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

According to Andrei Aoldatov, an expert on Russia and the Russian military, people are “on edge.” This is because of the resistance coming from Ukraine. The opposition is coming fast and furious, leading some to speculate that Ukraine could actually prove victorious.

Reportedly Putin expected victory right away — within the first week, some say. But that has not happened. Instead, Ukraine has fought back and is fighting back. It has been more than a month since maniac Putin started this monstrous attack, and Russian troops are not closer to victory than before.

Not what Putin expected, I am sure. But there is more. Reports are the Russian military’s morale is plunging downward. Many are hungry and have desperately called for food and water.”We can definitely say that nothing is going according to plan.” This is from Pavel Luzin, a Russian military analyst.

The numbers of Russian military killed are astonishing and said to be over 12,000. This includes at least 4 Russian generals. And many military experts say the state of the Russian military is unsustainable.

It would seem evident that Putin severely miscalculated just about everything. Not only did he overestimate Russia’s own strengths and capabilities, but he severely underestimated Ukraine’s. But the more Russian troops fail, the angrier Putin will become. This is not sustainable for him, and he must know that.
