This puts Senate Republicans in a pickle

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The Republicans are in a bit of a pickle.

You see, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings start this Monday. And the GOP does not quite seem to know what to do.

You see, many, if not most in the GOP, hate women and are transparent racists. Therefore it stands to reason they will want to go after Judge Jackson on — something — anything.

But how to do it without SEEMING to be racist? That is their question.

Of course, their worries are for naught — we all know they ARE racists. But because many in the GOP are a few clowns short of a circus, they do not appear to be aware of this.

So, they’re pondering. They’re feverishly looking for ANYTHING — to use to make their discontent for the first black Supreme Court member known.

There was a memo circulated to Republicans telling them NOT to attack based on race. So they must come up with something else. But what?

Ted Cruz thought he had the answer — attack her on her coffee preferences! Way to go, Ted! I almost wish he would because it would be on live television, and then the world would get to see the complete idiocy of Rafael Cruz.

Josh fist-pumper Hawley reportedly plans to question her on her dealings with Guantanamo clients. That one could be good.

Perhaps Hawley can even raise a fist to show solidarity with these clients. It wouldn’t be the first time Hawley took the side of terrorists.

Then there is child porn offenders — the latest attack-line making the social media rounds.

The point is — Judge Jackson will soon become Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, and there is nothing they can do about it.

We have the votes. We are in control. Jackson’s record is as pure as an uncut diamond, and she is the Creme de la creme of Judges — as evidenced by all the support she has pulled in.

Dozens of top law enforcement officials have thrown their support behind her.

If the GOP really does launch these bizarre and childish attacks, all they will do is show their racism.

So shut up, republicans. And say hello to your soon-to-be-newest member of the Supreme Court — Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.
