This latest media attack on President Biden is completely inaccurate

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If it felt like the media was scandalizing the Biden administration at least as much, if not more so than the former guy’s administration, that’s because it actually was – as they struggled to maintain the through the roof ratings and subscriptions they enjoyed from 2016 to 2020. They also didn’t have to deal with the regular intimidation from Trump administration officials – which often led to us getting a more sanitized version of many of the former guy’s various scandals.

There’s also been a great deal of criticism – largely just from pundits on the left and right concerning a lack of press conferences held by President Biden – even though the president routinely speaks directly to reporters at public events.

While the daily press briefings run by Press Secretary Jen Psaki are not always shown in their entirety due to low ratings and not being the marathon of lies that we were often treated to with the former guy’s press secretaries, something significant and rather unnoticed happened on Thursday. As of this week, Psaki has held more press conferences than all of Donald Trump’s press secretaries combined – just recently giving her 200th one.

It’s actually more accurate to say that the former guy’s administration only held 158 press conferences – events in which administration officials took questions from reporters – rather than simply holding events in which they refused to take questions. With every turn, the contrast between now and where we were just two short years ago couldn’t be clearer.
