As the midterm elections draw closer, it’s painfully apparent that the GOP has nothing to run on. They’re entirely devoid of ideas and bereft of any desire to help the American people. But wait! One Republican has a plan! One Republican is galloping to the cult’s rescue! That Republican is Senator Rick Scott.

Scott is from Florida, and before I go on, may I express my deep and sincere sympathies to Florida for being saddled with Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis, AND Rick Scott. I am so very sorry. Moving on to Scott’s plan — it is called the “11 Point Plan to rescue America.” I call it “the 11 Point Plan to lose the election.”

The Intelligencer described this plan as “batshit crazy.” Should we have expected anything less? Here are a few morsels of this plan for your viewing non-pleasure. “Men are men, women are women, and unborn babies are babies.” Wow! Einstein would be so very proud.

How about this beauty? Scott wants to eliminate government employees by 25% in 5 years. Scott also wants finishing the border wall to be part of this plan. And there’s more. He wants to name the wall after Trump.

I won’t go on with this rubbish, but if the GOP DID implement the plan, I think they would be laughing stocks — even more than they already are.

Allow me to create a plan for the GOP to run on. This will be the REAL plan, going deep into the soul of the GOP and letting people know who they really are. So, here we go. The GOP platform, translated into what it really means:

“We will ban even more books.”

“We will make sure we try to kick as many people as humanly possible off their health care.”

‘We will make Mr. Potato Head our mascot.”

“We promise to bring grievance protesting to America in every state.”

“We will call everything we don’t like ‘woke’ even though we have no idea what that word means.”

“We will tax the poor and cut taxes for the rich.”

“We will suppress the right to vote — but only in democratic strongholds.”

“That’s it.”

PS: “We have to run all this by Trump first, and if he doesn’t like something in the plan, we reserve the right not to do it.”
