Sidney Powell’s legal trouble gets even uglier

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One isn’t moved by human suffering when one’s soul is comprised of icicles in place of kindness and warmth. And human misfit Sidney Powell would know about icicles only too well. Powell is one of the biggest quacks ever to be seen. Of course, many such quacks have surrounded the lord of the lies. But I doubt many would argue that Powell isn’t at the top of the list.

Powell was responsible for the phony “release the Kraken” nonsense. She is the face of fake news — and her soul, I’m sure, would be enough to make even icicles shiver. Powell is in a battle to get the legal sanctions against her removed. Indignant in her tone, no sign of apology anywhere in her words, she is, of course, as vulgar and as unapologetic as ever.

Powell has filed an appeal with the 6th circuit seeking to get the sanctions thrown out. And in the appeal, she and her team complain that the Judge who presided over the case “does everything possible” to make it seem Powell is insane.

Of course, Powell does not need any help from anyone for THAT look. The woman comes off as batshit crazy and even some of Trump’s closest advisors seemingly thought so.

Also included in the appeal she filed are these words: “Millions of Americans believe the central contentions of the complaint to be true, and perhaps they are.” Perhaps?

Look, I won’t mince words here. The statements are NOT true. Any sane person knows that. Furthermore, it’s likely Powell herself knows that. The woman is, like Trump, a grifter. She doesn’t appear to care about humanity or anything except her own bizarre conspiracies.

And I think she’s made the situation worse for herself with this haughty and arrogant appeal. I doubt this appeal will work. It is rooted in fantasy — much like all of what Powell does and says.
