These right wing lunatics are out of control
The evil and stupidity at the core of the Orange F—k Face (OFF) and his Branch Trumpvidian cultists is not a uniquely American thing. Hate is not the sole province of Americans.
Over the past weekend a series of “protests” against vaccinations and pandemic mandates took place in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, with the Canadian versions of the Branch Trumpvidians turning out to showcase their hatred and stupidity. Complete with swastika and confederate flags. These people were just as disrespectful towards their fellow human beings as their American cousins were and continue to be. Police in Ottawa have begun multiple criminal investigations into desecration of the Canadian National War Memorial, the desecration of the Terry Fox Statute – erected in memory of Canadian athlete and cancer research advocate Terry Fox who himself died of cancer at the age of 22, and criminal behavior towards individuals going about their lives and law enforcement charged with keeping the peace. Of course, during his Texas bund meeting, OFF gave a shout out to this gang of thugs. A google search for the protests and the Faux “News” Channel showed me that Faux is also cheering on these people in their own attempt to sabotage the pandemic response and democracy in general. Supposedly these “protests” were done by a bunch of disgruntled truckers, however the Canadian Trucking Alliance said many of the participants had no connection to the industry.
However, in some encouraging news, the protests may not have the effect these people intended. The desecration of the War Memorial and Terry Fox statute were met with disgust and outrage both locally and nationally. Hopefully the acts of these disgusting Canadian Branch Trumpvidians will prompt the majority of Canadians to not support them or their hateful agendas any longer.
