Bon voyage, Marjorie Taylor Greene!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The sigh of relief was heard across the world. The sigh was filled with exaltation. It was a loud and roaring sigh; that was a long time coming. What was this sigh about? It was about the failed human experiment known as Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene, who calls herself a Congressperson but does not ever seem to DO much, has had one of her verified Twitter accounts suspended — permanently. This felt so good to write let me repeat it. Marjorie Taylor Greene has had one of her Twitter accounts permanently suspended.

And the reason given was “repeated violations” of Twitter’s Misinformation policy as it relates to Covid: “We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.”

As to be expected, Greene is engaged in a full-scale meltdown. Calling Twitter an “enemy to America,” she proceeded to spew out more hate gibberish I won’t repeat here because really, who wants to hear it?

Greene still has another account. However, if she keeps on keeping on as she has, I am confident that one might suffer the same fate. So activism does work. So many of you have said you’ve reported Greene’s tweets whenever you saw misinformation. And Twitter is to be commended as well.

With Greene’s suspension comes accountability. Now no doubt Greene will try to milk this. She will do that because she’s Greene — a miserable slimy person who seemingly cannot take responsibility for any of her actions. But this is a good thing that has happened, and Twitter will be at least a little quieter without the hate-screams of this account. It will also be a great deal safer. As for Greene? All I can say is: I really don’t care, do you?
