Nice try, Donald Trump!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We are getting closer to a new year. We’re also getting closer to an anniversary. It is not a pleasant one. It is coming up on one year since America was attacked from within. On January 6, this country experienced an insurrection. Traitors attempted to topple democracy. Of course, they were unsuccessful.

And now, as a new day dawns with a new year almost upon us, we face various challenges. One of them is the continuing radicalization of American terrorists.

It saddens this writer even to put these words in print. There was a time in which I’d never have dreamed such an event could occur. I am sure some of you must indeed feel the same way.

Fortunately, the traitors are getting what they deserve. But there is one traitor — the biggest traitor — who, while he most likely faces arrest himself — is preparing to make a speech on January 6.

This traitor is Donald Trump. Let me be succinct. I do not give a damn what the insurrectionist has to say, and I’m sure you don’t either. What worries me is the non-ending desire for ratings on the part of the media. I fear some stations may carry this garbage.

So we must make sure they do not. As we creep closer to said date, I am sure the gleaming-eyed media will be talking about this hate speech — hyping it to death. What will Trump say, they may muse aloud.

I am talking about the speech, too, but not for the reasons many pundits will be. I implore everybody that the moment you hear about this in the news — email whichever station is foaming at the mouth over it — and tell them this: Leave it alone.

We should not be covering the words of terrorists in this country. This is a country that was built on a foundation of love. The foundation of our home is still strong, and we must not let any hurricane of hate knock it down.

So, let’s remain vigilant and ensure the orange terrorist does not have an audience for his savagery. That way, we protect America’s foundation and let the savages know they’re nothing.
