The real reason Lindsey Graham is completely unraveling this week

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Lindsey Graham’s long-deteriorating behavior has gone into freefall this week. He’s now on television ranting and raving semi-incoherently about President Joe Biden, desperate to destroy what’s left of their friendship, and behaving in a manner that seems unusually agitated even for him.

So what’s the deal with Lindsey Graham? Days ago it was reported that the Fulton County Georgia District Attorney is empaneling a special grand jury to speed up her Trump election tampering probe. Graham is reportedly a criminal target of this probe, and this latest news clearly has him afraid he’ll be indicted.

The kicker is that we don’t even know if Graham will be indicted. It’s difficult to imagine the DA pushing the case this far, and now making dramatic moves to speed it up, unless she intends to indict Trump and expects to be able to get a conviction against him. But will she also indict Graham, or will she ultimately decide to remain laser focused on Trump? That’s anyone’s guess.

Yet based on the dramatic shift in his behavior this week, Lindsey Graham sure seems to think he’ll be indicted. Maybe he knows he’s just that guilty. Maybe what’s left of his mind is shattering as he tries to think about whether he’d be willing to cut a plea deal against Trump in order to keep himself out of prison. It’s difficult to fully comprehend what’s going on in a shattered mind. But the Georgia news certainly has Graham descending into a new level of madness that’s disturbing even by his standards.
