With Donald Trump gone, who will really be the 2024 Republican nominee for President?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The Presidential election of 2024 is far, far away. But not so far that many Palmer Report readers are not buzzing about whom the assolini party will put forth as their nominee. And so many of you have made speculations and begged for an article on this very subject. I decided to write one.

Understand I am going on speculation. I have no inside knowledge, and I could very well be wrong. But I want this to be interactive, so please make YOUR thoughts known in the comment section.

We begin with the most hated Senator in America. This is Senator Ted Cruz. He has no chance. He was despised BEFORE Trump ever even ran. His fellow Senators cannot stand him. His chances? Zero.

DeSantis — nope. Peaked too soon, and his popularity is on a downward slide.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. There might have been a time when the Bridgegate dude had a chance. Remember his Obama hug? Alas, those days are gone. He will run. A guy like Christie hates to be out of the limelight. I predict he will be one of the first to drop out because he will not clear 2 percent in the polls.

Josh Hawley. Nope. Nuff said.

Matt Gaetz. He has declared he wants to run if Trump doesn’t. But he won’t because he and his cringe-inducing hair will be in prison.

Mitt Romney — can’t you feel the need wafting off him? This man never got over his Presidential loss, and I imagine he may try—bad idea. The GOP hates him; Democrats don’t trust him, so he’s out before he begins.

Nikki Haley — nope. Like her lost popcorn, Haley has also lost her ability to make a decision and stick to it. Besides, the GOP hates women.

Senator Tim Scott. I am not ruling him out. I, however, did see his rebuttal to Biden’s State of the Union, and it was disastrous, so I doubt it. But I am not dismissing his chances outright.

Condi Rice. Many of you have mentioned her. I have a feeling she’d LIKE to do it. But she has three strikes against her. She is female. She is from the Bush administration. And there’s that pesky memo: “Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States.” I’m counting her out.

Ben Sasse. He may try. He is too conservative to win, though, and he has the same issue that Haley does.

Pence. You know the answer to that one.

Someone we do not yet know: More than likely. Who can it be? I’ve no idea, but with the motley group of ravaged lunatics mentioned above, I think the last possibility could be the correct possibility.
