This should be it for Lauren Boebert

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The GOP is the party of death. They really are. And they are showing the American people just that. When Colin Powell passed, it was a tragedy. But not for many in the GOP.

It was but a ghoulish chance for these folks to expand upon their lies about the Covid-19 vaccine. Digging into their fake news, with relish, the radical right proceeded to illogically and dishonestly use the death of Powell to mislead their audience once again.

But absolutely nothing is as vile as this tweet from Lauren Boebert. I am sure you have all heard the tragic news about actor Alec Baldwin and the tragedy that happened on set. Now a beautiful and vital lady is dead, a director was hurt, and people want answers.

My heart goes out to all involved. But Lauren Boebert seems to think otherwise.

Because the evil Boebert is openly laughing and joking about these events.

Referencing an old tweet of Baldwin’s about the danger of guns, Boebert proceeded to tweet: “alecbaldwin are these still available? Asking for a movie producer.”

Boebert was rightly pilloried for her tweet as she should have been. But it is not just her. All over Twitter, gleeful Right-wingers are cackling with ghoulish and craven joy as they crack jokes about this tragedy and further dehumanize all involved.

Take Ohio Senate candidate and resident psychopath J.D. Vance. He tweeted: “Dear @Jack, let Trump back on. We need Alec Baldwin tweets.”

Can one begin to imagine the emptiness of a person’s soul who would do this? Can one begin to understand the lack of love in such a person’s life? The ongoing misery a person might feel to strike out in this way?

So please — if you see tweets like the ones described — report them. If enough people do so, hopefully, they will be removed. The GOP is indeed the party of death. We must let everybody know this.
