House Republican Madison Cawthorn faces blowback as he spirals dangerously out of control
Once upon a time, there existed a God. In Greek mythological legend, he was known as Ares — the god of war. He was the son of Zeus and Hera. Zeus ruled the sky and was the leader of all the gods. Ares was known far and wide — he was known for his cowardice.
Unlike his sister, Athena, the goddess of war, Ares was known to be cruel and also filled with fear. He enjoyed the cruelty and the violence of fighting for its own sake. He did not take criticism well and was often seen as defensive and angry, with a penchant for violence.
In today’s times, there walk among us, many individuals with similar characteristics to Ares. One of them is Rep. Madison Cawthorn. Palmer Report previously brought you the story of this “man’s” evil and treacherous words. And now the public outcry has become even worse — and that is a good thing.
Liz Cheney of Wyoming has spoken out, saying Cawthorn’s words seem “intended to incite violence.” His own hometown newspaper, The Charlotte Observer, has called for him to be censured. “He’s gone from awful to alarming,” the paper wrote.
Calls are flooding into Speaker Pelosi demanding the same thing. I personally would love nothing more. Cawthorn is not a representative of the people. He’s a traitor, and it is long past time for him to see consequences for his despicable behavior.
