Bad news for Marco Rubio!
Watch out, Marco Rubio! So, exciting news from the great state of Florida, which IS a great state despite Governor DeSantis trying to change that. There is a new poll out. And this poll shows some grim news for Senator Rubio.
Rubio (useless, insurrection party, Florida) has not been doing much lately except spouting the usual GOP talking points, dutifully tweeting out Bible prayers, and talking about unidentified flying objects (No, not Matt Gaetz’s hair, extraterrestrial things.)
So it is not a huge shock to see he is floundering against Democratic challenger Val Demings.
In this new poll, which was just released, Rubio is barely leading Demings. The race is statistically tied with 48 percent for Marco and 46 percent for Demings.
I feel this is HUGE news. The mid-terms are still quite far away. Although this is merely a snapshot in time, the useless Senator should be polling higher than this. After all, he is the incumbent, and (supposedly) people like him there.
This will be an exciting but challenging race despite the great poll numbers for Demings. The reason this is so is because it is ALWAYS close in Florida. So it is more important than ever to support future Senator Demings.
She is a marvelous candidate, as good as we have, with a sharpness and charisma not often seen. And the poll numbers show it. But rest assured, grim-faced Republicans will be pouring lots of money into this race, so we must do everything we can to elect Demings.
