Nicolle Wallace is right
Now that President Biden has given a speech addressing the situation in Afghanistan, the mainstream media at large is trying even harder than ever to scandalize the whole thing. For instance, numerous reporters from major news outlets are now whining on Twitter that Biden didn’t take questions at the end of his speech – as if this were all about them.
But MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace said something during her show this afternoon that probably accurately sums up the whole thing. She said that 95% of the media disagrees with what Biden said today, but 95% of Americans probably agree with what Biden said.
I spelled out this morning why America is just too worn down from the four year Trump debacle to want to keep trying to salvage Afghanistan, and that most Americans accepted years ago that the eventual outcome would be a loss. As tragic as the fall of Afghanistan is, it only appears to be a “Biden scandal” within the mainstream media’s insular bubble.
