Ivanka Trump has a new mess on her hands

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The Trump Organization has been criminally indicted, in a lead-up to an inevitable indictment against Donald Trump himself. At least one former prosecutor suspects that Ivanka Trump could be indicted next, to try to get her to flip on Donald. And Mary Trump thinks Ivanka might take such a deal. Now Ivanka has a different kind of mess on her hands.

A few months ago, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner bought a new mansion in Florida – a state that the entire Trump family seems keen on fleeing to these days. But they still haven’t moved into the place, and according to photos recently taken by The Sun, the place has quickly fallen into severe disrepair – to the point that the dump is apparently already driving down neighboring property values.

So what’s going on here? Tough to say. Maybe they can’t afford to fix it up. Maybe they’re distracted by the Trump Organization indictments and the resulting legal upheaval. Or maybe, given that Ivanka and Jared leaked that they were distancing themselves from Donald Trump just as the indictments started flying, they’re having second thoughts about moving to Florida after all.

In any case, it’s just weird to buy a pristine new mansion with the intention of making it your primary residence, and then immediately let it fall into disrepair instead of moving in. It makes you wonder what’s really going on within the Trump family in the wake of the opening round of criminal indictments coming down.
