Michael Cohen predicts superseding indictments in criminal case against Trump Organization
Now that New York prosecutors have criminally indicted Allen Weisselberg and the Trump Organization for financial fraud, there has been widespread speculation about who else might end up getting indicted in this case. Michael Cohen, who has met with prosecutors a dozen times about this case and therefore has a better sense of what’s coming than most, is now suggesting that upcoming indictments could include… Allen Weisselberg and the Trump Organization again.
Melania Trump’s former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who has been helping prosecutors in multiple jurisdictions to unravel the Trump inaugural fund fraud scheme, posted this tweet documenting how the various alleged antics of Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and Rick Gates all tie back to Allen Weisselberg:
What do Don, Jr., Ivanka, and Rick Gates have in common? Allen Weisselberg! pic.twitter.com/dIuFadYOxg

Michael Cohen responded to Wolkoff’s post by predicting that there are “Superseding indictments on the way!” To be clear, superseding indictments are when someone who has already been indicted gets hits with additional criminal charges. In other words, Allen Weisselberg’s role in these other Trump-related financial fraud scandals could result in him being charged with additional crimes, which would set him up for a harsher prison sentence and increase the pressure on him to cut a plea deal against the Trump family.
