Washington DC statehood

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

I remember my childhood school years. We would take field trips. One of the places that we went was Washington D.C. It was an exhilarating place to visit. D. C. was infused with its own unique brand of energy. There was so much to see. There was so much history to this beautiful place.

All these years later, and the District of Columbia still has not been given Statehood. Hawaii became the 50th state back in 1959. The Statehood of Hawaii was riddled with conflict as well It happened, though. And it needs to happen with Washington D. C.

As of now, there is a fierce fight going on to make it happen. Most people support the movement to make it our 51st state. The House of Representatives has passed a bill to make it happen. But there is fierce opposition in the Senate. This is not surprising. The GOP does not like the liberalism of D.C.

If it was a conservative area, you bet it would already be state number 51. The district has more than 700,000 residents. They have more people than some of our states, such as Wyoming But almost half of its people are African American. And the GOP does not like that.

There was recently a rally put together by passionate activists. The rally was for voting rights and also for the support of D.C. Statehood. This is one more reason we need to add seats in the Senate in 2022. We need to move on this issue and finally turn this great city, with its remarkable history and wonderful people, into the 51st state in America.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
