“Cheater and a loser”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Now that Donald Trump has been gone from power long enough for criminal probes to begin resulting in indictments, and long enough for more insiders to feel comfortable blowing the whistle to the media, the full picture of Donald Trump’s crime spree – both in and out of office – is becoming even more disturbing.

The latest unsurprising yet nonetheless startling revelation is that shortly after Donald Trump tried to illegally pressure the Georgia Secretary of State into altering the 2020 results in his favor, he also tried to pressure officials in Maricopa County, Arizona to do the same. Here’s the thing though.

As this gets even uglier, it’s important to keep reminding ourselves of a few things. First, in spite of how he’s sometimes portrayed in the media, Donald Trump is not still in power. Even though we keep learning about additional Trump abuses of power, they all took place in the past; he’s not in position to continue abusing his office, because he has no office.

Second, Trump is finally in the process of being held accountable for his crimes. The indictment against the Trump Organization is going to dismantle his entire financial empire, and is an obvious precursor to Trump himself being criminally indicted in New York. The Fulton County District Attorney reportedly has a grand jury going against Trump for his election tampering in Georgia. And this latest news opens the door for the Maricopa County District Attorney to potentially pursue criminal charges against Trump.

Third, Trump lost. This is a guy who spent four years illegally abusing the powers of the presidency to try to win or steal himself a second term, and he still couldn’t do it. Congressman Ted Lieu said it best: “The former President is a cheater and a loser.” Let’s not forget that we defeated Donald Trump, he’s being dismantled as a result, and we’ll continue defeating him for as long as it takes until he’s officially done.
